Learning, mentors and a place to stay in New York
The foundation works in four areas: mentoring, lectures and classes, settlement and training partnerships, and housing for students and interns.

Mentoring
Talks and conversations that connect students with mentors in New York, including visiting student groups from Korea and Korean-American youth from across the US.
In 2014 the foundation hosted a visiting youth group from Korea invited by a New Jersey mission, and about 20 students on the Arkansas Korean Association's Youth Vision Trip.

Lectures & classes
The GLF Education and Culture Center has hosted community classes, including a 12-part real estate investment course, painting and ballroom dance.
In October 2014 the foundation launched a 12-part real estate class, shared through its newsletter, followed by painting and ballroom dance classes from November.

Settlement & training
Settlement programs with the Korean American Association of Greater New York, and field programs for language students with a Korean internship consultancy.
The centers hosted settlement classes run by the Korean American Association of Greater New York (citizenship, real estate and insurance licensing, pharmacy assistant, barista), and the foundation agreed a ‘Culture & Mentor’ field program for language students.
